Biography:
Dr. Ayesha Shahid Merchant is a board-certified dermatologist from Mumbai, India, holding MD, DNB, and MRCP SCE (UK) qualifications. She trained at KEM Hospital, JJ Hospital, and Sion Hospital . Her clinical interests include pigmentary disorders, acne, cutaneous adverse drug reactions, lasers, and aesthetic dermatology. She is actively involved in research on microneedling-assisted therapies for vitiligo and CADRs due to anti-tubercular drugs. Dr. Merchant has presented at national conferences and aims to expand her academic footprint internationally through EADV, IMCAS, and WCD. She is the founder of Luminiere Dermatology & Aesthetic Clinic, blending evidence-based clinical and aesthetic care.
