Title : Defining lip health
Abstract:
We will review the latest research findings from clinical investigation on lips of female subjects ranging in age from 20-60 years, across multiple geographical locations. Assessments of lip hydration, lip barrier function, expert grading of lip health, as well as lipid and protein content will be discussed with a preview of changes in lip microbiome. We will close with a discussion of the impact of natural ingredients in management of lip health.

- Biochemical and biophysical properties of facial skin have been extensively studied and it is known to be affected by factors such as race, age, and lifestyle. Evidence suggests the importance of this understanding in predicting diseases and in developing appropriate care products.
