Abstract:
Regenerative medicine is rapidly transforming the landscape of dermatology by offering innovative strategies for skin repair, rejuvenation, and restoration. This field leverages stem cell therapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), biomaterials, and tissue engineering to promote cutaneous regeneration in both clinical and aesthetic applications. From chronic wound healing and burn management to scar remodeling and anti- aging interventions, regenerative therapies are demonstrating significant clinical potential. Advances in cell signaling, growth factors, and biocompatible scaffolds have paved the way for personalized, minimally invasive treatments with improved outcomes and reduced recovery times. Despite encouraging progress, challenges remain regarding long-term efficacy, safety profiles, standardization, and regulatory frameworks. This review highlights the current applications, emerging technologies, and future directions of regenerative medicine in dermatology, emphasizing its role in reshaping skin health and aesthetics.
