Biography:
Assoc. Prof. Karolina Chilicka-Hebel is a cosmetologist at the University of Opole, Poland, specializing in cosmetic technologies, skin bioengineering, and acne-prone skin. With her research team, she pioneered studies on oxybrasion and hydrogen cleansing in acne-prone skin and has published in international scientific journals. She is the author and editor-in-chief of Cosmetic Equipment and Treatment Methodology (2013) and Rosacea Without Secrets (2025). She reviews manuscripts for journals including Frontiers in Medicine and Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, regularly presents at scientific conferences, and participates in the Horizon-MSCA-2023-SE-01 PurHumanDrome project.
