As a clinician at Institute of Dermatology, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, my major is fungal infection disease and have participated several anti-fungal drug clinical trials, fungal ecology, epidemiology surveys. In recent years, we have studied the pathogenicity of Candida albicans, especially in the study of the effect of mitochondrial function on the cell wall mechanism of Candida albicans and its influence on the immune function of the host in collaboration with Professor Richard Calderone and Professor Li Dongmei of the Department of Microbiology and immunology, Georgetown University. We will continue to do in-depth research in this field in the future.
