Biography:
Ejigayehu Kassa is a journalist with a special interest in film and television programs. She has worked for various electronic media enterprises as a TV program producer and director of educational films. Her productions often focus on vulnerable children, women, and people with disabilities. She holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Film Production from Addis Ababa University. Her short film "Eremat" received an award from the Embassy of the United States of America, and another short film, "Self Portrait," was presented at a European film festival. Despite health challenges stemming from a serious skin disease, she documented her daily experiences in a film. Ejigayehu presented at the IDC conferences in Tokyo (2024).
